since my art is so textural/tactile, it's quite difficult to photograph properly [at least for someone as inexperienced as i] so the flash is awkwardly on in my pictures...thats only so you can see the texture. its icky though, so sorry.

concentration

I'm still not completely sold on my concentration idea...

buttttt what seems to be my only idea that has held up to any sort of standard/ thought of completion is an idea of portraying fears [general or my own, although if they were mine they would have a more consistant theme]. mrr.

I hope that the sketchbook picture I posted before counts as what Ms. McBride wants..I don't have any thumbnails of concentration ideas and I'm too lazy to put up another one.

_sketchbook?

this is my most recent sketchbook assignment...and i kind of like it, but it seems a little unbalanced.

[it is for "comfort" and the things in the background are people _hugging_ and in the foreground it is a graphite sketch of a teabag...all of it was painted in four different teas except the acrylic outline and the first [of many] layers of the background, which was a light wash of pinkish red]

contrast+face

this is just a sketch i did a little while ago...i might want to use in a painting or something, i kind of like the contour aspect of it. hmm...
